COUNTIFS: The COUNTIFS function counts the number of cells that contain numbers, and counts numbers within the list of arguments. Use the COUNTIFS function to get the number of entries in a number field that is in a range or array of numbers with condition.

=COUNTIFS(criteria_range1, criteria1, [criteria_range2, criteria2]…)

Example:

COUNT

Give the formula in C13 cell.

Formula Description Result
=COUNTIFS(C2:C11,"RLD Limited",A2:A11,"Dhaka")

Count total "RLD Limited" in Dhaka Division.

here, criteria_range1=C2:C11, criteria1= "RLD Limited", criteria_range2 = A2:A11, criteria2= "Dhaka". You can use criteria3 or more.

3
