How to Extend Volume (increase the size) of a hard drive (C:) partition.

Here i will show you how to Extend (increase the size) of hard drive C 70GB to 80GB (without any software & without losing any data):

To increase C:drive 10GB, you have to take 10GB from D:drive. So, First transfer all data of a D:drive to another drive.
Step-1: Click mouse left button on start icon. Click mouse right button on Computer & click to Manage.
Step-2: Click to Disk Management. Mouse right click on D:drive & click to Delete Volume.
Step-3: That's why i told you to transfer data from this drive first. Click to Yes.
Now your D:drive is deleted. You will make it again. Your D:drive will show now as a Unallocated.
Step-4: Click mouse right button on C:drive & click Extend Volume.
Step-5: Click to Next.
Step-6: In Select the amount the space in MB section, write 10240 MB to increase 10GB (If you want to increase more or less, see the calculation system & write here). (Calculation for 10GB (10*1024). Here, 10 for to increase 10GB, 1024 for convert GB to MB). Click to Next and click to Finish.
Now your C:drive size increased 10GB. And now you have to make d:drive.
Step-7: Click mouse right button on D:drive & click New Simple Volume.
Step-8: Click to Next. Write the Simple volume size in MB. Click to Next.
Step-9: Assign the following drive letter & click to Next.
SStep-10: Format the volume in NTFS file system & perform a quick format. Click Next and click to Finish.
Now your D:drive remade.

Follow this steps to Extend (increase the size) of any other drive of your hard disk. If you make D: drive.then you can also transfer size any of other drive from D:drive. Only to increase C:drive extend you have to make D:drive unallocated. For other drive, make any drive unallocated.
