How to Shrink Volume (decrease the size) of a hard drive (C:) partition.
Here i will show you how to Shrink Volume (decrease the size) of hard drive C: 80GB to 70GB (without any software & without losing any data):
Step-1: Click mouse left button on start icon (). Click mouse right button on Computer & click to Manage.
Step-2: Click to Disk Management. Mouse right click on C:drive & click to Shrink Volume.
Step-3: Write amount of a space to shrink in MB & Click to Shrink.
Now your drive will decrease as per your selected space (MB) & it will make a Unallocated Space (MB). You can use this Unallocated space (MB) in other drive by extend them or you can make a new drive.
