গ্রাফিক্স (Graphics) মানে ছবি বা চিত্র । হস্তলিখিত, অঙ্কিত বা মুদ্রিত আকারে কম্পিউটারের সাহায্যে যে সব ছবি প্রদর্শন করা হয়, তাই গ্রাফিক্স।

অথবা চিত্রভিত্তিক সিস্টেমে যে সমস্ত চিত্রের মাধ্যমে প্রয়োজনীয় কার্যাবলী সম্পাদন হয়, সেগুলোকে গ্রাফিক্স হিসেবে অভিহিত করা হয়।

কম্পিউটারে সাধারণত দু'ধরনের গ্রাফিক্স ব্যবহ্নত হয়:
১। Bit Mapped Graphics ২। Object Oriented Graphics.

Bit Map Graphics টি Pixel পদ্ধতিতে যাবতীয় কার্যাবলী সম্পাদন করে বিভিন্ন ধরণের ছবি তৈরী করে। এর প্রধান অসুবিধা হল এ পদ্ধতিতে তৈরিকৃত Graphics এর আকার পরিবর্তন করতে চাইলে Graphics টি ভেঙ্গে যাবার সম্ভাবনা থাকে। অপরদিকে Object Oriented Graphics এর মূল বৈশিষ্ট হল কোনরূপ পরিবর্তনে Graphics এর আকৃতি পরিবর্তন হয় না। ফলে Object Oriented Graphics এর জনপ্রিয়তা বেশি।

Graphic design is the creation of new solutions to problems within the medium of visual communication, either in 2D or 3D, on paper or digitally.

সাধারণত logos, web site user interfaces, tattoos, sketches for fashion or industrial design, typefaces, print, animated characters, advertisements, flyers, movie credits, newspaper headlines, and designs for textiles ইত্যাদি কাজে . 

Graphics Design Software কি?

কম্পিউটারে যে প্রোগ্রাম বা Software ব্যবহার করে Graphics এর কাজ করা হয় তাই Graphics Design Software.
